Pre-Service Audit

The purpose of the audit is to gather all system and hardware information for everything that is to be covered by the IT support contract. All your assets will be tagged and recorded on our systems. This may be achieved by a physical visit, via remote access, or agreed that if the provided information is deemed to be correct, that anything that falls outside of the provided information is not supported as part of the support contract.

Define any non-standard support requirements

Many of our customers have unique applications or hardware deployments that they would like covered under a single support agreement with CSUK. Where we do not have the in-house expertise, we try to meet our clients’ requirements by offering support through 3rd Party software or sub-contractors.

Initial patches and updates

After we have gathered all the information and to guarantee effective ongoing support, we need to ensure the estate is fit for purpose. CSUK will ensure that a plan is delivered to bring all the IT real-estate to the latest recommended software/patch versions and can be offered a clean bill of health for on-going support to be achievable.

Deployment of service monitoring tools

CSUK utilises industry leading software to manage our clients’ IT infrastructures. This means that from our operations centre we can receive live statuses, faults and alerts and action them, perhaps even before our customers are aware there is an issue. This may mean we set up outbound alerts from switches and other IT equipment to our service desk.
