Traditional Components - Earphones/Acoustic Drivers

Earphones are available in two sizes, standard and miniature.

Their part numbers are derived as follows:

  • Standard TC4500-ABC and Miniature TC 4400-ABC
    where ABC relate to the colour (A), impedance (B) and polarisation (C).
     
    • Colour (A) is either 1 =Grey, or 2 =Black.
      Impedance (B) can be coded 1 to 8.
      Polarisation (C) is either 0 =Polarised, or 1 =Non polarised.
      Polarised units have 2 different sized sockets for the cable plug.

Part number example (see below): TC 4500-120 =Grey, 60 ohm, Polarised
